Cyprus Temporarily Suspends Foreign Interest Company Registration Portal During System Upgrade

Foreign Interest Company Registration Portal Unavailable Until 30 June 2026

The Cyprus Business Support Centre (BSC) has announced that the online application portal for registering Companies with Foreign Interests will be unavailable from 16 June 2026 until 30 June 2026 due to a planned technical system upgrade.

The temporary suspension affects new online submissions as of the beginning of June for companies seeking registration under Cyprus’ Foreign Interest Company framework, a scheme designed to attract international investment and support foreign-owned businesses establishing operations in the country.

Businesses intending to submit applications are encouraged to take note of the temporary downtime and plan accordingly.

When Will the Cyprus Foreign Interest Company Portal Reopen?

The online application system is expected to resume normal operations on 30 June 2026 following completion of the upgrade works. Companies planning to establish a presence in Cyprus should monitor the reopening of the portal and prepare all required documentation in advance to ensure a smooth application process.
