It is a permanent residence permit addressed to the persons who possess and have fully and freely at their disposal a secured annual income from abroad.
The Authorities will check the intention of the applicant and the applicant’s family members to reside permanently is Cyprus.
Applicant and the applicant’s family members are not allowed to engage in any business, trade or profession in Cyprus.

Bank Accounts Statements in the Republic (original)
Title of ownership or contact of sale and proof of payment of the property or rental agreement (original or true copy)
Declaration of a secured annual income (original documents and affidavit)
Original Criminal Record Certificate for the applicant and his/her spouse, duly certified and officially translated (if the applicant resides abroad, the certificate must be issued from his/her country of residence)
Marriage Certificate duly certified and officially translated (original or certified сору)
Children's Birth Certificates dully certified and officially translated (original or certified copy).

Duration of immigration permit
- The residence right of such permits is of unlimited validity, for the holder and his/ her adult dependents. The residence permit (card), however, has an expiry date of ten years from the date of its issuance and must be replaced with its expiration.
- The residence permit which is issued to the underage dependents is valid until the age of 18.
Loss of the permanent residence right
- An Immigration Permit shall cease to be valid if the interested person and his/her dependents acquire permanent residence abroad or be absent from Cyprus for a period of two years.
