Eligibility

Individuals born before 16 August 1960, who are citizens of the United Kingdom and its former colonies, with Cypriot origin through the male line, and who reside permanently abroad.
Application Process
Submit the application along with the supporting documents to the District Office.
After approval, two citizenship certificates will be issued, which must be signed by the applicant.
After the applicant's signature, the registrar of the Cypriot court will sign the documents and proceed with the stamp duty.
The stamped copy will be returned to the Ministry of Interior, which will grant Cypriot citizenship to the applicant.
After obtaining Cypriot citizenship, the applicant can submit a request for an identity card and passport.
